More About Me

I love helping people develop and navigate their real estate goals.

My personal real estate journey has come with many rewards and it has inspired me to help you with yours. Landing in the perfect spot is an adventure, it takes tenacity, and it can be so life changing. I'm here to listen, brainstorm and then create a plan so we can make your real estate dreams a reality.

Being part of the real estate industry is so inspiring, I love connecting with people and  being able to access my interests in architecture, design and art. I have a keen eye for assessing the important elements of a desirable home, including construction quality, functionality, site placement and more. My husband and I have worked on numerous redesign and remodel projects on our own homes, which gives me a great sense of the potential a home might hold and the degree of effort and investment the endeavor may take. This insight lends itself to helping sellers make decisions on whether or not to make upgrades before listing, and can also help buyers determine if a home will be an excellent fit the moment they hold the keys, or if there might be some changes made that could bring a less that perfect home to the top of the contenders list.

I'm here to be your advocate through the entire buying & selling process. It can be a stressful time but I am a pro at keeping you in a positive mindset and focused on what we are working toward. I have a tenacious drive that I will dedicate to your goals and we won't stop until your vision has been met.

My Story

I have a deep love for the beauty, people and communities of Kitsap County and feel so fortunate to have lived here for over 29 years. My husband and I raised our family on Bainbridge Island and the opportunities it offered were a springboard to a life well lived. During this time, I spent many years teaching at Bainbridge Dance Center, where I also served as Associate Director and Director. Connecting with students & their families was such an honor, and helping dancers access & grow their passion brought many heartfelt rewards. I was challenged every day, in the best way, to meet the needs of the day while staying true to what mattered most, students connecting to their passion.

In 2017 my husband and I adventured north to the stunning hamlet of Hansville, where our ultimate goal of living with a west facing water and Olympic Mountain view was realized. Owning our dream view has created a happiness that was beyond our imagination and being immersed in ever-changing and stunning vistas is both energizing and meditative. We absolutely love being North Kitsap locals and have discovered so many fabulous new nooks and crannies. I’ve come to believe there could be no better place to live than the amazing West Puget Sound region.

My favorite free days might be spent in the garden, in an art museum, or at the beach with our dog River. (Ask me the story of getting River and her two brothers in to the states from Canada during covid!) Night time favorites are attending concerts, dance & theater performances, or stargazing by the fire. You will often find me taking photos, talking about orcas, or making flower bouquets for friends & neighbors.

I connect with my community in many ways and a recent community contribution of which I am very proud and excited, is my involvement in the creation of a new 100 acre "Forever Forest" which has become part of the Hansville Greenway.

I helped lead the organizing team which encouraged a local developer to sell to the community, a 100 acre parcel of land, which they had originally intended to develope.  I was widely involved in early effort fundraising and then helped steer the community wide outreach campaign to raise the necessary $2.1 million dollars to complete the purchase.  We met this fundraising goal ahead of schedule thanks to the amazing enthusiasm and generosity of many, and the property is now part of the Hansville Greenway, and held in trust by Great Peninsula Conservancy!  Read more about Hansville Greenway West here:  https://greatpeninsula.org/property/hansville-greenway-west-campaign/

Some of my other community involvement includes teaching a weekly adult modern dance class, serving as a member of Hansville Helping Hands, for which I chaired the 2018 & 2019 Hansville Garden Tours, and participating in the Flotsam & Jetsam Garden Club of Hansville.
